Legends Baseball Adds First Seven Players to 2026 Recruiting Class
The ATCC Legends have announced the signing of seven players to their 2026 recruiting class, adding talent from across Minnesota and North Dakota.
Ozzy Jerome | Infielder | Morris, MN | Chokio-Alberta/MACA
"Ozzy is an area player we've had an eye on since his sophomore season. Morris has been one of the top programs in the area for a long time and Ozzy has been a major contributor for them over multiple years. He's a player that will only continue to excel against higher level competition in college. He's an outstanding defensive third baseman already and has the tools and work ethic to be a major offensive threat in Alexandria."
High School: Hit .361 with a 1.147 OPS for Morris Area Chokio-Alberta in 2025. Slugged 5 doubles, two triples, and two home runs as the team posted a season record of 22-2. Plays for Morris Eagles amateur team, reaching the state tournament in 2024 and 2025. Multi-year letterwinner, all-conference, all-district honoree across football, basketball, and baseball for Morris Area.
Personal: Son of Tate and Heather Jerome. Plans to major in Business.
"Hunter is already a polished center fielder and hitter entering his senior season of high school. He was a major contributor for both Fargo South and Fargo Legion Post 2 in 2025, both of which were top teams in all of North Dakota. Hunter will join former South teammate, Matt Bryant, on the Legends and is the fourth member of Fargo Post 2 to sign with the Legends in the past year, joining Jonah DeJong, Sam Ovsak, and Brady Manly. Hunter is a player that can step into a really talented lineup in 2027 and produce right away for us."
High School: Earned All-Conference honors for Fargo South in 2025. Helped lead Fargo South to 2025 state tournament. Hit .333 with 7 doubles, one triple, and one home run for Fargo Post 2 in 2025.
Personal: Son of Dennis and Lulu Giere. Plans to major in Exercise Science.
Brayden Kvamme | Outfielder | Moorhead, MN | Moorhead
"Brayden has showcased the tools to be a high-level hitter heading into his senior season. He is a fearless hitter and has a left-handed frame that can really develop in college. He was a staple in the Moorhead lineup his junior season, helping guide them to their first state tournament appearance in 35 years. Brayden is the kind of hitter we can trust to produce against high-level pitching someday in Alexandria."
High School: Hit .351 with 5 doubles and two triples in 2025. Letterwinner in baseball and hockey for Moorhead.
Personal: Son of Nick and Leah Kvamme.
Kaleb Blanchette | Catcher | Fargo, ND | Fargo Davies
"Kaleb is one of the top defensive catchers in the 2026 class across all of North Dakota and South Dakota. We expect him to grow substantially as a hitter in Alexandria. He has the ability to step in right away as a freshman and help us manage an extremely talented pitching staff in 2027."
High School: Helped lead Fargo Davies to 2025 state tournament. Earned Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2025 for Fargo Davies. Hit .333 for Dakota Selects in Fall 2025 as a starting catcher. #4 Catcher Pop-Time & #3 Catcher Velocity across North Dakota and South Dakota via Prep Baseball.
Personal: Son of Kate Carlson and Benjamin Blanchette.
Parker Kiser | Pitcher | Sebeka, MN | Sebeka
"Parker is a top local pitching prospect for us, coming from an area north of Alexandria that's produced a big group of Legends talent in the last year including Connor Davis, Isaac Hamann, DaShaun Robinson, Alex Blume, Kobe Snyder, and Carson Davis. He has a great frame to grow into as a pitcher and has already established a strong ability to command the strike zone and get outs. Parker is someone we expect to find his way into the rotation in Alexandria."
High School: Posted 3.0 ERA across 43 innings for Sebeka High School in 2025, striking out 54 batters. Posted a 2.9 ERA across 23 innings for Wadena Legion Post 171 in 2025. All-Section and All-Conference honoree in 2025. Multi-year letterwinner in football, basketball, and baseball.
Personal: Son of Reggie and Laura Kiser. Brother of professional pitcher, Kolby Kiser.
Ty Rooney | Catcher | Perham, MN | Perham
"We had two 2026 catchers on our board this past year and we were able to sign both of them, which was a great success. Ty comes from a Perham program that has routinely produced college talent in the last handful of years and is a top high school program in all of Minnesota. Ty gives us more flexibility at the catcher position as our lone left-handed bat. He is a mature, competitive player that we expect to continue his winning ways and contributions for us in Alexandria."
High School: Earned All-Conference honors in 2025, helping guide Perham to multiple state tournament appearances in his career. All-Conference award winner for Perham in football.
Personal: Son of Nathan and Courtney Rooney. Brother of Notre Dame pitcher, Noah Rooney. Cousin of current Legend, Alex Blume.
Gus Pankratz | Outfielder | Fargo, ND | Fargo Davies
"Gus is one of the top hitting prospects in the 2026 class across all of North Dakota. He has elite physicality and explosiveness as a high school athlete. Gus posted the top exit-velocity in the 2026 class across all of North Dakota and South Dakota at Prep Baseball showcases this past year. As he continues to polish his game offensively and grow defensively, he could emerge as a dominant player for us in 2027 and 2028. We will lose some firepower in our lineup with the departures of Jonah DeJong, Gabriel Cabrera, Caden Evers, and others after 2026 and Gus is the type of guy who can step in and fill that part of the lineup instantly."
High School: Helped lead Fargo Davies to 2025 state tournament. Hit .344 with 10 doubles, three triples, and 4 home runs in 2025 for Fargo Post 400.
Personal: Son of Ross and Allison Pankratz.
