We had an incredible night honoring our remarkable student athletes at the Annual Legends Athletics Banquet on May 4, 2026.
The Alexandria College Fishing Team traveled to Santee Cooper, South Carolina, to compete in a high‑stakes Bassmaster College Series tournament with hopes of qualifying for the Bassmaster College Championship.
Six of Alexandria Technical & Community College’s top anglers traveled to Okeechobee, Florida, to compete in the 2026 Strike King Bassmaster College Series at Lake Okeechobee, a tournament featuring more than 200 teams from across the nation.
The ATCC fishing team is heading to two major Bassmaster College Series tournaments this spring, competing against over 200 colleges from across the nation. Six student-athletes will travel to Lake Okeechobee, Florida, in January, followed by a trip to Santee Lake, South Carolina, in April.

Alexandria College Legends athletes are hardworking individuals who are getting after it. One Legend drew the attention of the Minnesota Bassheads organization. Legends competitive angler Ryan Kieke answered questions from Tony Lee, an administrator of the Minnesota Bassheads Facebook group. Kieke was one of the top anglers of the Legends fall season and is one of four anglers competing nationally for the Legends this spring.
The Alexandria Legends Fishing team finished its regular season on October 9 and is sending four anglers to represent the school nationally.
The Legends Fishing team finished their fourth regular season (conference) tournament on Lake Ida near Alexandria, Minn. on September 7.
