Clay Target Team Finishes Strong with Second Place in White Division

Leading the charge were Haddan Steen and Tahira Schaffran, who both earned second-place honors in their respective divisions. Steen posted an impressive 48.60 season average, while Schaffran led the women's competition with a 47.60 average.

The team demonstrated consistency and excellence at the highest level, with multiple athletes achieving the coveted perfect score of 50 out of 50. Travis Luitjens led all shooters with three perfect rounds, while Haddan Steen recorded two. Blake Erickson, Logan Hamann, and Nichole Ray also joined the prestigious 50-Straight Club with perfect performances of their own.

Five athletes earned spots in the Top 25 Season Average Overall: Haddan Steen, Travis Luitjens, Blake Erickson, Brody Erickson, and Carter Haverkamp, all posting season averages above 47.60.

The team's depth was evident in the Conference Top 10, where seven athletes represented the program. On the men's side, Steen, Luitjens, and Blake Erickson all cracked the top rankings. The women's team was equally impressive, with Schaffran, Nicole Ray, Tabitha Durand, and Marisa Ruther all earning recognition.

Strong performances came from across the roster, with 29 athletes competing throughout the season. Carter Haverkamp and Brody Erickson tied for fourth in individual scoring at 47.60, while Caleb Hall and Isaiah Zink both averaged 47.20. The team's competitive spirit and dedication to improvement were on full display from the season's first shot to its last.
