Alexandria, MN – Alexandria Technical & Community College is proud to announce that standout volleyball player Aspen Gentele has committed to continue her academic and athletic career at the University of Wisconsin-Superior beginning in Fall 2026.
Aspen has been a dominant force for the Legends volleyball program, leaving an indelible mark on the record books during her time on campus. She ranks 2nd all-time in program history with 442 kills and 3rd all-time with 71 blocks, while also contributing 30 ace serves and 262 digs to her impressive statistical resume.
Her excellence on the court has earned her numerous accolades, including being named the 2025 MCAC North Division Player of the Year. She was also recognized with All-MCAC honors, All-Region 13 honors, and 1st Team All-Division selection.
"Aspen has been an exceptional player ever since she walked on campus as a freshman. When you think about players who can do it all, you think of Aspen. She can play any position on the court and still be one of the best. She has made so many great plays in the Legends uniform, and we couldn't be prouder and more excited for her. As a hometown kid of Alexandria, and now an ATCC Legend great, we want nothing but the best for Aspen! A new chapter will open for her next Fall. I do not doubt that she will have a great career at UW-Superior," said Jason Smith, Head Volleyball Coach.
The entire ATCC community congratulates Aspen on this tremendous achievement and wishes her continued success as she takes the next step in her volleyball journey with the Yellowjackets.
