Bio
Jason Smith is entering his first season at the helm of ATCC Legends Volleyball and his second season overall in the program. 
 
Ten years ago, Jason started his volleyball coaching career alongside his wife, Erica Smith, as they opened Midwest Power Volleyball Club in St. Cloud, MN. Starting with just one team at the 17u level, Jason and Erica have grown the program to 10 teams to date, ranging from 18u to 14u. Jason has coached 15u - 18u and is currently the Head Coach of MWP's 16's Elite team. 
 
Jason's collegiate volleyball career started as a Volunteer Assistant Coach at Ridgewater College, where he assisted his wife Erica with recruiting and strength & conditioning for two seasons. 
 
Jason has just completed his second season as the Head Volleyball Coach of the NCR High Performance All-Star 16u 1s team. Players are selected from MN, ND, & SD who compete in All-Star championships at the end of each summer. 
 
Jason is a former collegiate athlete and competed in football at Central Lakes College and MSUM. In addition to his playing career, Jason coached high school football at St. Cloud Technical High. Along with girls' basketball at Kennedy Community School at the 6th grade level. 
 
Earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota-Crookston, where he studied Sports and Recreation Management.

A native of Chicago, IL, and graduate of Spring Lake Park High School in Minnesota, Jason and his wife Erica have 3 daughters and 1 son (Tiana 13, Major 11, Skylar 5, Kamryn 3), and they reside in Avon, MN.
